Summary:
Responsible for managing exceptional client incentive programsThis includes serving as liaison between clients and suppliers in support of that programExcellent client relations, detailed planning, and successful implementation are criticalThe program manager will manage the event details, agenda, budget, on-line registration, communications, and financial accountability of the programOn-site program management ensures a successful program.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Oversee, facilitate, and manage all aspects of event planning o Coordinate and manage travel, accommodations, and expenses o Work on multiple events for a variety of clients simultaneously o Manage and document communications o Manage budgets and registration o Work directly with registrants on challenges or inquiries o Develop and maintain solid professional relationships with all suppliers, clients, and registrants o Create event marketing communications, on-line registration, email promotional campaign, and communications o Create and voucher expenses and income o Create and manage timeline, itinerary, agenda, evaluations, and post reports o Update client and supplier partners in Outlook contacts o Serve on on-site management team o Manage communications and program details in Outlook OneNote o Keep abreast of industry trends and participate in professional online training opportunities to grow in profession o Daily administrative functions and other duties o Adheres to company policies and guidelines
Qualifications:
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Exceptional and highly proficient computer skills in Google and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Publisher, Word, Power Point, OneNote) o Knowledge and experience with Google forms and/or Cvent desirable.
o High propensity for time management, task management, details, and organization o Strong understanding and experience of event management, incentives and /or group travel preferred o Takes initiative, accountable for meeting deadlines, working independently, and priority management.
o Innovative and resourceful, actively seeks opportunities to improve events o Experienced at negotiating and building partnerships with suppliers o Exceptional client service skills and enjoys collaborating with people o High energy, positive, professional attitude, pride in work product o Basic on-line registration /web design experience o Exceptional team member:
willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to help your colleagues when needed o Punctual, dependable, respectful Special Requirements:
Willing to work on a weekend or evening as neededEvent travel for programs is essential.
