$20-$24/hour The Donation Administrator maintains and administers Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson's donor database that serves as the repository for tracking GSHH philanthropic efforts including donor information, fundraising campaigns, prospect research and financial recording of gift transactions.
S/he serves as the database administrator providing regular data hygiene and general system support and training.
The Donation Administrator is the liaison with Blackbaud customer support and ensures ongoing system updates are completed and GSHH is using the Raisers Edge database system to its full capacity.
JOBRESPONSIBILTIIES:
Maintain, administer, process and enter data in the Raiser's Edge donor database that is the repository for all GSHH donors, prospects, donations and campaigns/events tracking.
Retrieve donation data from various sources including:
Blackbaud reports, SalesForce reports, Finance deposit reports, 3rd party vendor reports, etc.
Reconcile gift data entry with Finance's fundraising deposits to confirm accuracy.
Process, prepare and track donation acknowledgment letters, pledge reminders, annual receipts and other donor communications within specific timeframes.
Conduct regular data audits and perform data hygiene.
Provide data base administration including:
set up user accounts and user permissions, train users in basic protocols and support users with database troubleshooting and data extraction.
Liaison with Blackbaud customer support on behalf of the Philanthropy team to ensure software updates understood and implemented, use of new software features implemented as appropriate and to provide general technical support.
Develop and maintain data entry procedure guide.
Oversee online gift processing and Blackbaud merchant services protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education, Preparation, and Training College degree - Associates Degree or above.
Minimum 2 years of experience with database software, preferably Raiser's Edge.
Successful completion of a background check.
Skills Demonstrate excellent time management to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines while maintaining efficiency, attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work as a team member with minimal supervision Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and able process and analyze data and transform it into donor communications, reports and presentations.
Possess flexibility to support time-sensitive functions and needs of fundraising activities and able to work a flexible schedule with occasional nights and weekends Possess Strong work ethic, unquestionable reputation for honesty and integrity.
Must have the ability to maintain utmost confidentiality at all times.
Must be able to ensure quality customer service with co-workers, volunteers, girl members and other external contacts.
Physical Demands Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Extensive time sitting and standing.
Computer Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
CRM database proficiency, preferably in Raiser's Edge.
Travel Must possess own car and valid driver's license.
Must be able to travel to other locations across all 7 counties as needed, and travel to the Montgomery headquarters at least twice/week.
