Responsibilities:
1.
Load Dispatching:
Efficiently and effectively manage the dispatching of freight loads for our fleet of drivers.
Coordinate with drivers to ensure they have accurate information about pickup and delivery locations, schedules, and any special requirements.
Monitor the status of ongoing shipments and proactively address any potential delays or issues to maintain a high level of customer service.
Utilize dispatch software and communication tools to optimize load assignments and track driver progress.

Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
Actively prospect potential clients, build relationships, and present our freight transportation services to generate leads.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic plans and marketing initiatives to attract new customers.

Customer Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Provide exceptional customer service, striving to exceed expectations and cultivate a positive company image.
4.
Operational Support:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth coordination of transportation activities.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to dispatching and business development efforts.
Collaborate with the driver recruitment team to ensure an adequate pool of qualified drivers to meet customer demands.
5.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure that all dispatching activities comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
Promote a safety-first culture and prioritize the well-being of drivers and cargo.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a freight dispatching role, logistics, or transportation management is preferred.
Proven track record in business development, sales, or related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of dispatching software and transportation management systems is a plus.
Familiarity with regional transportation regulations and compliance is advantageous.
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
